FAQ'S

Welcome to our FAQ section! Here, you'll find answers to the most common questions we receive. We aim to provide clear and helpful information to assist you. If you have any further inquiries, feel free to reach out!

  • Is there an age limit to have any of these services done?
You must be 18+ years old for permanent makeup procedures.
  • Does permanent makeup (cosmetic tattoo) hurt?
A topical numbing cream is used prior to and during the semi-permanent cosmetic procedure to minimize discomfort. Most clients feel very little pain and take a snooze while some experience a small amount of soreness. I take every precaution necessary to ensure your treatment is as pain-free as possible. Having PMU done during your menstrual cycle may cause more sensitivity.
  • How long are appointments?
An appointment lasts 2 to 3 hours, depending on the service and technique we decide to do. A touch up appointment lasts anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the amount of work that needs touching up.
  • How long does permanent makeup last?
Microblading/Combo/Powder Brow results are very individual and vary from one person to another, everyone’s results last a different amount of time. A color refresh (touch up) for eyebrows is recommended on average every 12-18 months. How long cosmetic tattoos lasts depends on the individual and following factors: Skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, age, metabolism, amount of sun exposure, medication being taken, immune system, environment.
  • Can permanent makeup cover up scars?
Yes it can, unless it is a keloid. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me a clear photo of the area to be treated so I can let you know if you’re a good candidate.
  • Can I do microblading/combo/powder brows if I already have a previous tattoo?
Yes, you can. However, you must email a photo for approval prior to scheduling a service. Please make sure to send good quality pictures from different angles standing in daylight, so I can review and let you know if I can work with your previous tattoo. Please don’t use indoor lights or flash as this will change the color of your permanent make up. Please do not book as a touch up. You will need to book an appointment as a new client for eyebrows.
  • Who is cosmetic tattooing NOT recommended for?
Pregnant or nursing. Diabetic. Undergoing chemotherapy (consult with your doctor and please provide a physician's note). Viral infections (diseases). Had botox within a 3 week period of appointment. Had an organ transplant. Epilepsy. Sick with a cold of flu-like virus. Used Accutane in the last 6 months.
  • Is it extra if you're doing correction work (brows done elsewhere)
Yes, all corrections with work done elsewhere is the base price plus an extra $100.

Client Testimonials

“Amrit is amazing, she fixed my botched lip tattoo from 3 years ago. She is so gentle that I literally fell asleep on the table during the appointment! The healing went smoother than the last time, because she uses amazing technique.

Because I was so impressed, I got my brows done. I am a fair skin freckled strawberry blonde, I wanted natural. WOW, she nailed it! I even fell asleep again during the process. No bleeding and the healing process was quick!

(5 stars from my husband, who really hates over exaggerated make up!)

I am coming back next time for some light eyeliner, to accentuate my eyes!”
